Your account has a separate offline cache. Signing in never automatically claims someone else's device-only records. Import your old herd explicitly into an empty account, or restore a JSON backup. Signing out does not delete cloud records or unsynced account caches. On a shared device, also clear site data after signing out.
Delete account
This permanently deletes your sign-in account and its entire cloud herd, including photos, records and tasks. Export a JSON backup first. This browser's account cache will also be removed. Backups and offline copies on other devices or domains are not erased remotely. Device-only herds are not affected. Store subscriptions, if any, must be cancelled separately.
